Upcoming Acrylic Pouring and resin art Workshops in Auckland

Learn how to pour acrylics, with all materials included to complete 2 one-of-a-kind fluid art paintings.

Each event is a stand alone painting class and can be done before/after any other Art In Bloom Academy Acrylic Pouring Workshop (e.g. Dutch Pour, Dirty Pour / Flower, Negative Space, Tree Rings / Swirl / Topography, Flip and Slide technique).

Our Acrylic Pouring workshops are for beginners to acrylic pouring or just art in general. No prior experience of any art form required. If you’re looking to get a bit creative while having TONS of fun then this is for you.

Acrylic pouring is a very delicate science and you’ll be given all the tips and tricks to get it right the first time.

The events are hosted at Studio One Toi Tu, 1 Ponsonby Road, Auckland. It’s the only Auckland Centreal location I could find to host these super-messy classes – don’t attempt this at home unless you want paint on your floors and walls!

You will learn the techniques for this modern art form, including how to pick the right colours, mixing with the correct mediums and how to create cells or the desired effect. You will be given step-by-step instructions on how to create your own masterpiece. We provide all materials, including paints, mediums, aprons and panels (2 x 30cm x30cm painting).

The paintings will be dry and ready to take home 2 days after the event.

After you’ve attended an acrylic pouring workshop book yourself in for our resin coating class. We teach you how to use Art Resin to provide the ultimate professional glass-like finish, which brings out the colours and gives art gallery that wow-factor.
